Bacon-Caramel Popcorn Balls
The ideal sweet and savory treat for any occasion is Chef John’s bacon and caramel popcorn balls.
Cook bacon in a pan over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes, or until all the fat has rendered out and the bacon is well browned and crisp.
Move into a strainer placed over a bowl to collect the extra grease.
Make sure the bacon is at room temperature.
Mix the popcorn in a sizable bowl.
Add the cooked bacon, then stir it just enough to distribute it evenly.
Place aside until required
