Chicken Cordon Bleu Lasagna
This lasagna, made with Swiss cheese, cooked chicken, and deli ham, has all the flavors of chicken Cordon Blue without a lot of fiddly preparation.
Set oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C).
Large pot of lightly salted water should be brought to a boil.
Cook lasagna in boiling water for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until thoroughly heated through but still firm to the bite.
Drain.
Butter should be melted in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir cream cheese into the hot butter for about 5 minutes, or until it starts to melt.
Add salt, black pepper, and onion powder to the dish.
Once the cream cheese is smooth, gradually whisk in the warm milk.
Then, stir in 1 1/2 cups of Swiss cheese.
Stirring continuously, bring sauce to a simmer, and cook for 5 to 10 minutes, or until cheese has melted and sauce has thickened.
