Deep Dish Persimmon Pie
A delicious substitute for the typical fruit pie fillings are sweet fuyu persimmons.
Set the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees C).
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, and sea salt.
Spread half of the persimmons into a pie plate with an 8-inch depth.
Add a half-sprinkling of the sugar mixture.
Continue by adding more persimmons and sugar to the mixture.
Place aside.
Graham cracker crumbs and melted butter should be blended thoroughly.
Over the persimmons, evenly spread the crust.
Bake for about 45 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and persimmons are soft.
Serve hot
