Prawn Malai Curry
In this rich curry recipe, prawns are combined with coconut milk, tomato, onion, ginger, and garlic pastes, and freshly ground spices. Include some steamed basmati rice with it.
To make the fresh garam masala, grind the cardamom seeds, three whole cloves, and three cinnamon sticks into a fine powder in a coffee grinder.
Place aside.
Over medium heat, warm the vegetable oil in a skillet.
Include the 4 whole cloves.
2 cinnamon sticks and 4 cardamom pods should be briefly fried (take care as cloves tend to pop out of the pan).
Heat reduction to medium-low is achieved by stirring in the grated onion.
Cook and stir for about 5 minutes, or until the liquid evaporates and the onion stops smelling raw.
Stirring frequently, cook the ginger and garlic pastes for 2 minutes.
