Sausage and Cream Cheese Pinwheels
At your next party, these sausage pinwheels will disappear quickly from the platter. They are a tasty treat made from crescent roll dough, sausage, and cream cheese.
Sausage should be cooked and stirred for about 10 minutes over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly; grease should be drained and discarded.
One crescent roll package’s worth of dough should be spread out onto a work surface; pinch the perforations together to form a single sheet of dough.
Over the dough, spread half of the cream cheese, leaving a 1/2-inch border around each edge.
Over the cream cheese, distribute evenly half of the cooked sausage.
Roll the dough into a log starting at one long edge; cover with plastic wrap or parchment paper.
To create and wrap a second roll, repeat.
Rolls should be chilled for at least an hour to become firm.
Set the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees C)
