Sausage ‘n Kraut
For a sweet and sour German-inspired meal, your favorite sausage is grilled, then sliced and served with sauerkraut that has been browned in butter.
Set an outdoor grill to medium-high heat and give the grates a quick oiling.
The sausages should be cooked on the preheated grill for 3 minutes on each side until browned.
Slices of cooked sausage should be about 1/2 inch thick.
Melt the butter spread in a big skillet over medium-high heat while the sausage is grilling.
Sauerkraut, celery, onion, caraway seeds, brown sugar, and pepper should all be stirred in.
For about 10 minutes, cook and stir the sauerkraut until it starts to brown.
Add the sausage slices and stir.
Serve warm
