Spicy Sambal Shrimp
Shrimp is tossed in a spicy, buttery sauce made with sambal oelek in this easy Indonesian-inspired dish served over steamed sushi rice.

To thaw shrimp, place them in a sizable bowl of cold water and wait 10 to 15 minutes.

In a glass or ceramic bowl that is microwave-safe, melt 1/2 cup of butter for 30 to 1 minutes, stirring every 15 seconds.

Add half of the lemon juice and the garlic.

Over medium heat, melt 1 1/2 teaspoons of butter in a big skillet.

Add the onion and stir frequently for 5 minutes or until translucent.

Add sambal oelek and the shrimp garlic butter mixture.

Cook and stir for 7 to 8 minutes, or until shrimp are thoroughly heated.
