Upside-Down Barbeque Meatloaf
Place the meat on top of a layer of barbeque sauce to make Chef John’s upside-down barbeque meatloaf, a great twist on the comfort-food classic.
Set oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 degrees C).
With your hands, combine ground beef, salt, chipotle chile powder, celery salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
The meat mixture should be thoroughly mixed with the breadcrumbs, eggs, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce before being formed into a loaf.
Place the meatloaf on top of the barbecue sauce and press it into the bottom of the loaf pan.
