High-Altitude Challah
This challah always comes out beautifully when I make it for my family and gatherings of family in Colorado. I sincerely hope you adore it as much as my family does! Sprinkle sesame or poppy seeds before baking if you’d like, but we never do.
In a measuring cup, mix the yeast, warm water, and 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
Allow to stand for 5 to 10 minutes or until the yeast dissolves and begins to foam.
