This homemade lemonade is so creamy because of the sweetened condensed milk. For a cool drink for the summer, serve over ice.

Combine lemon juice sweetened condensed milk and 1 cup water in a blender.

Blend until well combined.

Pour into a pitcher and add remaining 2 cups water.

Stir.

Serve chilled and over ice.

This is one of my family’s favorite appetizers. Serve with pita or taco chips.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large mixing bowl combine Cheddar cheese mayonnaise half of the olives jalapeno peppers garlic and hot pepper sauce.

Spread the mixture into a 9-inch pie pan.

Bake for 20 minutes or until heated through.

Sprinkle over the dish the remaining olives chopped tomatoes and green onions.

Plenty of pierogi wrappers are produced from a basic dough made of flour, salt, oil, baking powder, egg, and water, ready to be filled with your preferred filling.

Mix the flour, salt, and baking powder in a sizable bowl.

Create a well in the middle.

Combine the vegetable oil, warm water, and beaten egg in a different bowl.

Pour into the dry ingredient well.

For 8 to 10 minutes, knead the dough.

Allow the dough to rest covered for two hours.

Extend and fill as needed

This Mexican layered casserole is vegetarian friendly and full of veggies, including bell peppers, corn, onions, beans, tomatoes, and chiles.

Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).

In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.

Add Roma tomatoes, chile sauce, corn, yellow and green bell peppers, white and red onions, and other vegetables.

A flavorful beef mixture is cooked and then pan-fried to crispy, sizzling perfection in this Cuban vaca frita dish.

Slice a second onion thinly after cutting the first one in half.

Place aside.

In a large saucepan, combine the flank steak with the onion halves, bell pepper, and bay leaf.

Over high heat, cover with water and bring to a boil.

Simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the meat shreds easily with two forks, on medium heat.

Flop the flank steak onto a work surface and give it a few minutes to cool.

Using two forks, shred the cooled meat, then add it to a bowl.

Cooking liquid should be discarded or strained to save broth for later use.

This challah always comes out beautifully when I make it for my family and gatherings of family in Colorado. I sincerely hope you adore it as much as my family does! Sprinkle sesame or poppy seeds before baking if you’d like, but we never do.
