Broiled Salmon with Brown Sugar
This quick and simple salmon makes a flavorful weeknight meal when it is grilled with a brown sugar, soy sauce, and onion mixture.
Set the oven’s broiler to high and place a rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce and brown sugar.
Oil in a pan is warmed up over medium-high heat.
Saute onion in hot oil with salt and pepper for 5 to 7 minutes, or until soft.
Transfer to the sugar mixture, then combine.
On a baking sheet with a rim, arrange the salmon fillets.
Salmon needs 10 minutes in a preheated oven.
Sprinkle half of the sugar mixture over the top after turning.
For an additional 5 to 10 minutes, broil the salmon until it is opaque throughout and easily flaked with a fork.
Remaining sugar mixture should be served.
