Easy Sesame Tofu with Teriyaki Vegetables
Pan-fried sesame tofu with bell peppers in a honey-teriyaki sauce served with brown rice is a simple recipe.
Apply cooking spray to a skillet and warm it up over medium heat.
Add bell peppers and onion, and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes, or until vegetables are just beginning to soften.
Tofu should be sliced into 1/4-inch thick slices and cut widthwise.
To make sure all surfaces are covered, lightly coat a second skillet with cooking spray.
You’ll need to work in batches as you lay the tofu slices side by side in a flat layer in the skillet.
Sesame seeds should be sprinkled on each tofu piece’s exposed side.
