Gluten-Free European Apple Cake
Sorghum, tapioca, and rice flour can be used to make apple-walnut cake gluten-free, resulting in a dense and moist cake that is suitable for any celebration.
Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
A 9×13-inch pan should be greased and lightly dusted with gluten-free flour.
In a bowl, combine the salt, sorghum flour, almond flour, rice flour, tapioca flour, xanthan gum, cinnamon, baking soda, and baking powder.
In a separate bowl, combine the sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs; add to the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
Add apples and walnuts and combine.
Batter should be poured and pressed into the pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for about an hour, or until a knife inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
