I created these lovely cupcake dog treats for my dog Presley’s fourth birthday. For dogs with food allergies, they are ideal. Although they don’t look particularly attractive, Fido will adore them. These keep well in the freezer, and you can zap them in the microwave for a tasty, infrequent dog treat.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners.

Mix together apple cheese applesauce eggs and olive oil in a bowl.

Combine whole wheat flour oats and baking powder in a separate bowl; stir by hand into the wet ingredients until well blended.

Spoon into the prepared muffin cups.

Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven or until the tops of the muffins spring back when lightly pressed.

Cool completely before serving.
